Imagine juicy life redesign with a pelvic health lens, a little therapy-adjacent magic, and a giant splash of “you deserve pleasure.” It’s like pelvic floor therapy went rogue, got a PhD in real life, and started serving tea and the tea. This isn’t traditional pelvic floor therapy, and it isn’t mental health counseling — it’s a space to unpack, strategize, and reshape your life with warmth, expertise, and a little irreverence. Mostly, we fix your chaos, your routines, and your damn joy.

Women who’ve spent years pouring from empty cups, silently screaming into their laundry piles, or pretending life isn’t a dumpster fire. Basically anyone who wants to feel like their body is theirs again, and maybe laugh in the process.

Not usually – New Mexico is a direct access state state. We do not require a referral from a provider. However, if your insurance requests one, or you just want to get one, this can help integrate your care across us and your other health care providers, and helps to ensure you get the most consistent support.
A referral is best shared at the time of your evaluation, and can come from any of the following: OB, Chiropractor, Nurse Midwife, or Primary Care Physician.
The referral should read: Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapy, Evaluation and Treat

Yes. And no.
Medusa is a rare unicorn of a "hybrid" clinic. We offer a flexible model that allows us to stay small, independent, and focused on one-on-one care.
Our Philosophy
We believe the best results happen when your care is dictated by your progress, not by external administrative constraints. By maintaining a small number of insurance partnerships, we are able to keep our practice simple and sustainable. This ensures that every client—regardless of how they pay—receives the same high standard of personalized, holistic attention and a treatment plan tailored to their unique timeline.Insurance & Payment Options
In-Network: We are currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico (Commercial). If this is your carrier, let us know and we can help you verify your benefits.
Private Pay: For all other carriers, we operate as a private-pay clinic. This allows us to keep our focus on your care while maintaining our autonomy as an independent practice.
HSA/FSA: We gladly accept Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards.
Out-of-Network Reimbursement (Superbills)
For our private-pay clients, we provide a Superbill upon request. This is a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company to see if they offer reimbursement for out-of-network Occupational Therapy.
Note: Every plan is different, and we recommend calling your insurance provider to understand your specific out-of-network coverage.

Sessions are 1:1, in person, and cozy — think box of tissues, tea, comfy chairs, and a safe space to explore your life and your body.
We’ll:
Dump all the messy, awkward, WTF stuff
Map your routines, energy, and life chaos (yes, chaos counts)
Strategize ways to reclaim your flow, joy, and pleasure
Make it stick in real life, because la vida loca isn’t an Instagram story

Most places focus on muscles, exercises, or clinical therapy. Medusa focuses on your your body and brain, and your whole life: roles, routines, energy, and sensory experiences to find pleasure, intimacy, and real-life integration.
We address pelvic health where it intersects with the life you’re actually living, and the one you want to enjoy.
-
It’s not. Sex therapy is its own specialty, and it deserves its own lane. What we do here is zoom out: pleasure, intimacy, and desire as lived experiences inside a very full, very real life. Less “let’s analyze,” more “why does nothing feel good anymore and what do we actually do about that?”
-
Perfect. Bring your confusion, weirdness, and awkward self. Nothing is too messy or TMI for us to tackle. We’ve seen it all. Honestly.
-
Only if you want one. What you learn about yourself in the clinic, you get to take home as new ways that pleasure and intimacy can be explored solo, partnered, or just in your imagination while you sip tea. Your rules. Your body. Your fun. Your turn.

Medusa is not hiring at this time. However, if you are an Occupational Therapist, or a student OT, we are always open to meeting over coffee or tea, to talk about why it’s so badass to work in the space of sexual and pelvic health, what further training you might benefit from, and why more OTs in this specialty are so important. Hint: OTs are perfect for this field.
We also invite you to arrange a visit to the clinic space, ask questions because we plan to hire as we grow, and we always invite questions and curiosity!
“I went to Medusa for help to ensure healthy pelvic floor as I continue running postpartum. Nadya was great to work with, I genuinely felt like I was meeting with a friend. She creates a comfortable atmosphere, and I appreciated her follow ups past our scheduled sessions.”

WHY WORK WITH US
We treat the whole you. Pelvic health isn’t just about muscles—it’s about how you move, breathe, feel, and live.
No Kegel obsession. We go beyond “just do your exercises” to find what truly works for your body. And your life.
Healing is complex, and we know that. No awkwardness. No dismissal. We create safe space for you to heal on your terms.
Pelvic health meets real life. Rehab shouldn’t feel like a second job. We help you integrate healing into your actual, messy, beautiful life.
WHY WE’RE DIFFERENT
Medusa isn’t just a pelvic health clinic—it’s a space that’s built for you. We embrace a radical shift in health care and take a whole-person approach, tackling more than just physical pain. We also dive into the mental, emotional, and sensory layers, because healing is about so much more than just what can been seen or understood on the surface.
We are trauma-informed, but not in that stiff, clinical way. We meet you where you are, and help you take your power back. It’s not about quick fixes. It’s about meaningful, lasting change that fits your life, not just your symptoms. You’re a badass, and we’re here for that.
