ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Last updated: November 2025
Our Commitment
Medusa Pelvic Health & Wellbeing is committed to making its website accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to provide a website experience that is inclusive, user-friendly, and respectful of every person’s abilities.
We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and to align with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for effective communication and equal access.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are continuously improving the website to make it more accessible for everyone.
What Accessibility Means on Our Site
In everyday terms:
You can navigate https://www.medusapelvicwellbeing.com using a keyboard or assistive technology like screen readers.
Text and background colors are chosen for readability, including for people with low vision.
Images, icons, and graphics include alternative text or descriptive labels where possible.
The site is designed to remain readable and functional if you zoom in or adjust text size.
Layouts, headings, and navigation are structured logically and consistently.
Pages are understandable even if styles or graphics are turned off.
The site is built on Squarespace, which includes accessibility features such as:
Semantic HTML and heading structures
Keyboard navigation support
ARIA landmarks and roles in templates
Responsive design and text resizing
Known Limitations & Work in Progress
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may not yet meet all requirements:
Some decorative or recently added images may lack full descriptive alt text.
Certain headings or page regions may not be fully optimized for screen-reader navigation.
Embedded third-party tools, such as Typeform self-screening forms, JaneApp scheduling, and Acuity scheduling, may not fully support all assistive technologies.
On very small mobile devices, some pages may require horizontal scrolling.
Occasionally, text or button color combinations may fall just below optimal contrast.
We are conducting a full accessibility audit and anticipate achieving WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance by mid-2026.
