That Halloween the UNMH rehab department dressed as Care Bears. I went as the Peri-care Bear because…OT 😂😂. I was also SUPER proud of my wordplay.

All that day patients asked if I was the toilet bear or poop bear, and I was like…Ok y
We’re thrilled to invite you to a special session with Molly Lukes, OTR/L.

She will be representing Medusa Pelvic Health and Wellbeing as part of Filling Your Cup, a Mother’s Wellness Fair. This event is the creation of Aleja Grajeda of October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. For parents who go home after delivery without a baby, the world keeps moving, but their bodies are still recovering, their hearts are aching, and no one guides them through what comes next. Because yes, we’re talking about poop. Again.

Poop shouldn’t be taboo (I mean…I’ve brought it up at parent teacher conferences and brunch). Everyone does it, but how you do it There’s something so freaking cool about being surrounded by people who are just as passionate (and just as nerdy) about pelvic health as you are. The Pelvic Health OT Summit is a whole weekend of learning, laughing, and realizing you’ve It’s been a tough week. The universe in chaos or something. I feel things hard when they are hard. I take my own sensory and nervous system advice, and sometimes I fail at it, or it just fights back. But I fail while daring greatly.

People told to “just strengthen your core” who still leak when they sneeze.

People whose sex life stopped being fun because it started being painful.

People who avoid public bathrooms because the urge alway
